Austin Pets Alive! is working to make Austin a no kill city and has a large volunteer base to help make this a reality!
Opt to adopt - we can make Austin no kill if we all adopt instead of buy from pet stores.
The $100,000 prize would go towards our goals for the year: * Save 4,000 dogs and cats * Continue finishing out our new building at 2807 Manchaca Road to maximize our life-saving potential * Assist Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC) with making Austin a no kill city * Continue building our behavior program so that we can save and rehabilitate all pets with behavior issues * Expand into other Central Texas communities, like Williamson County, Bastrop, and Lampasis with an ultimate goal of a No Kill Central Texas * Expand our outreach efforts to assisting and training other shelters in the US * Host another national no-kill conference

Sonia does not have the money for the required deposit and the leasing offer are only giving her five days to come up with the money.  Sonia has incurred a lot of debt trying to take...
