Western Arizona Humane Society has withdrawn from the Challenge in order to focus their attention on an organizational transition. Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, Georgetown, TX is now the 10th contestant in Division 3. The ASPCA welcomes Williamson County Regional, and wishes both organizations the best in their separate life-saving endeavors.

Applications for the 5th and final $100K Challenge kept rolling in right until close on January 22, which means there’s still some work to be done to verify the 50 competitors for this year. Watch for the big announcement the week of January 27.

Congratulations to all Challengers! Contestants saved an impressive 12,050 MORE lives during this year’s $100K Challenge. Lots of hard work, innovative ideas and can do attitude by Challengers resulted in a grand total of 56,379 lives saved in just 3 months. Remarkable!
