The ASPCA has detected certain irregularities in voting and is in the process of implementing a solution to correct the issue. As a result, Winner announcements will be postponed to Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Voting will continue as scheduled through 11:59pm ET on August 1, 2014. The ASPCA regrets any inconvenience and appreciates the patience of competing shelters and their supporters.

The fun, thrills and smiles from saving more lives begins this Sunday, June 1, 2014 as the $100K Challenge kicks off! Fifty shelter contestants have been brainstorming and prepping for months in order to save more lives this summer than last. Good luck to all the contestants!
The ASPCA welcomes Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society (Thomasville, GA) as an official contestant in Division 2. They replace Humane Society of West Michigan who made the tough decision to withdraw from the Challenge as they are recruiting for a full-time vet. Without this key position in place, their ability to get animals quickly available for adoption would be incredibly difficult for the competition.
